| ZEE TURNER&6TH ANNUAL SALES MEET 2010 The Zee Turner 6th Annual Sales Meet was held in Pattaya, Thailand between 15th -18th January 2010. At the Sales Meet team discussed their accomplishments, shared their experiences, progress and future strategies. At the first ever international Sales Meet the motto was to work hard and to party harder!!! The theme of this year's Sales Meet was “ONE AIM CHANGE THE GAME” which implies we all need to join our hands together with one aim in our mind, to realize that we all have one goal – the goal to make Zee Turner an unbeatable player in the market. The power of change&growth is in our hands only. The first day began with a light lamping ceremony and address by Senior Management from ZEEL and Turner International, follwed by presentations from the CEO and functional heads. Day 1 Schedule - - Address by Punit Goenka - Zee Turner - A journey - covered and yet to explore - Dinesh Jain - MSOs - How best managed - Himmat Sandhu - Non MSO/Rural strategy Pillars - Dilip Sharan - Content Strategy - Hindi/Regional GEC - Nitin Vaidya - Content Strategy - Kids/English – Siddharth Jain, Turner - Role of distribution in garnering ratings and revenues - Smita - Agreements- Legal Position- Viresh Ramchandra Dhaibar - Piracy - Dragon spitiing fire - Viresh Ramchandra Dhaibar - Outstandings - management - Uttam Sharma - Deactivations/mergers - Akash Ahluwalia - New Customer Acquisition- customisation of offerings - Gunjan Jain On the following day the Zonal heads spoke about their challenges, accomplishments&future strategies for the coming year. The conference was followed by a Gala Dinner Night for all the Zee Turner&Placement team members where the dress code was FANCY DRESS and everyone was dressed aptly for the night. This was the evening were the high achievers received accolades/awards for their stupendous performance during the year 2009 - 2010. The host for the evening Leena&Kulvinder put up a spectacular performance by cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. The awards night also had some non serious awards such as the Jalebi award, BBC, Selective Impairment award, Adultrated award which were given out to various people on basis of the people's voice vote. There were also some games which were played at the venue such as Cake smearing where the team members would throw pastries on the face of their bosses. Post which everyone put on their dancing shoes and danced away to glory on the foot tapping music and munched on the delicious&exotic food. Thailand is heaven for the shopaholics and so is Pattaya. From beach markets to Big Malls open all day&late into nights, everyone went out and emptied their wallets on exotic Thai food, clothes, electronics, accessories, massages etc. |
