Outing with Zee TurnerMeet as glittering as the Olympic Gold !!'Go for Gold' Sales Meet 2008, Goa Focus, passion and an iron will to succeed can make us achieve any goal. This was the core thought that anchored Zee Turner’s Annual Sales Conference-08, held in Goa on Oct. 20th. It was called 'Go for the Gold' Meet and was inspired from the grit and passion of sportsmen who came out as winners in the Beijing Olympics. In addition to a big bang opening in the true Olympics style of lighting the torch and inter- zone quiz with the cricketing ace Dinesh Mongia, the meet also saw a series of events through the two days of the conference. Motivational address by the Zee Turner Chairman, Mr. Punit Goenka, address of the CEO, Mr. Dinesh Jain and various sessions by the vertical heads were important part of the conference. The midterm performance as shared by Mr. G Ramprasad, COO South and Mr. Himmat Sandhu, NSH, Zee Turner for their respective zones was extremely encouraging. The sales heads also addressed the teams on their expectations for the next half of the year. The conference also acted as a forum to educate the teams on the significance of TAM and various emerging technologies like HITS and other digital distribution platforms. The best performers from the sales team were given awards. Mr. Vimal Raisara, who won the Best Performer Award for collections at an all India level, was delighted to receive the award. Thanking his seniors he said, "The freedom and support given to me by my seniors helped me to gather resources from ground and take decisions independently." In order to lighten up the mood after the gyaan sessions and for everyone to unwind, the day ended with an entertainment filled evening. The superheroes theme for the evening event was brought alive by all attendees, who came dressed as real and reel superheroes. Performance by African acrobats, Latino and Salsa dancers were the highlights of the evening. |
